End of winter quarter.
Beginning of spring quarter with a road trip out west.
Right now I am en route on this trip, Dad left from Denver yesterday morning and Katie's plane arrived late late last night, and here we are in lovely Boulder, Colorado. There's not much to see between Chicago and Denver, but in my free hours yesterday it was a good experience going to the Denver Art Museum, the newest addition designed by Daniel Libeskind. The space was wonderful, it reenforces the value of resultant, secondary spaces (secondary to the overall volume concept). Also, today we went to the Celestial Seasonings factory here in boulder - the largest gathering of tea fans I've ever experienced. Here are some photos of winter + beyond . . .

Denver Art Museum
This space is connected to another rather open one on the second floor in which there was a really cool interactive exhibit. Whenever I would go pass there would be at least a couple people playing with it.
Exhibit of wolves + red (I don't know the title). The wolves are grey but can appear green as an optical illusion when the rest of your vision sees red.

"Quantum Cloud XXXIII" by Antony Gormley

"Chamber" by Charles Sandison - a really cool exhibit that digitally transformed an already dynamic gallery space. In the bottom middle is a man just chilling on a bean bag.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39.
